I learned all the principles of life growing up on a dairy farm in East Tennessee from mom and dad and a special mentor Neal Miller. My education continued in the U.S. Air Force Security Service as I practiced listening closely to details as a morse systems operator. From bagboy to district manager took 23 years focused on the retail food business.

The last 32 years in the insurance world have offered me the opportunity to make many friends with clients and fellow agents across the country. I believe in education and professional development. I served in the Professional Insurance Agents Association of Tennessee as committee chairman, board member, and president.

I love the challenges that come every day when existing clients and new clients ask for protection for the important things in their lives. My work is my passion, and I take great pleasure in helping transfer risk that is too great to carry alone.

I am married to my best friend, Vickie, and we have two children with families of their own. Grandchildren and a great grandchild are the best!

Owning a business allows me to see the risk from the same perspective as the clients I serve. Finding solutions to the problems you face in business has always been my challenge and pleasure.
